More on Immigration
by Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11)
Earlier this month, I joined 11 of my House Budget Committee Republican colleagues in visiting our nation's southern border in McAllen, Texas, to see President Biden's border crisis first-hand. Now in my third term in Congress, I have visited the border more often than President Biden, who has been in Washington, D.C. for nearly half a century. His refusal to see the border crisis firsthand is an acknowledgement that his policies continue to fail the American people.

WASHINGTON- Rep. Lloyd Smucker released the following statement in response to President Joe Biden's speech to a joint session of Congress:
"In his inauguration speech, President Biden promised to work with both Republicans and Democrats to help the American people and vowed to unify our nation. Republicans don't believe in big government, we believe in the American people.

It's Congress' duty to ensure the President is acting within his constitutional authority to address that crisis.
