Smucker Statement on Resolution to Terminate Trump's National Emergency Declaration

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-Pa.) issued the following statement on H.J. Res. 46, the National Emergency Declaration Termination Resolution:

"As I've said before, the President has made a strong case for a national emergency declaration at our border. He is acting within his authority and I still support his decision to declare an emergency on the Southern Border. That's why I voted against the resolution to terminate the emergency order today in the House."
