Washington—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted in favor of H.R. 5525, the Spending Reduction and Border SecurityAct. The measure failed.

Washington—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11), a member of the House Education & Workforce Committee, is pushing to expand access to federal workforce development programs funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Washington – Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) introduced the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, H.R. 4721, legislation which would permanently extend Section 199A of the Internal Revenue Code, which is slated to expire in 2025. Smucker’s bipartisan legislation is cosponsored by 119 Members and is supported by all Republican Members of the Ways & Means Committee.
Washington, D.C. – Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted in favor of H.R. 277, the REINS Act (Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act). The legislation would require congressional approval of major executive department regulations, including those which would have an estimated impact on the economy of $100 million or more, increase in costs or prices for consumers, or impact American businesses’ ability to compete with foreign-based enterprises.
Washington, D.C.—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted in favor of H.R. 3746, the Fiscal Responsibility Act. The legislation passed with a bipartisan vote of 314 to 117 and now heads to the United States Senate. Rep. Washington, D.C.—Today, Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted in favor of H.J. Res. 45, which would overturn the Biden administration’s student debt bailout. H.J. Res. 45 passed by a vote of 218 to 203 and heads to the Senate for consideration.

Washington, DC—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11), a member of the Education and Workforce Committee, introduced the Student Loan Tax Elimination Act. The legislation would eliminate a hidden tax on federal student loans, which adds unnecessary debt to student loan borrowers.
