Last week, I reintroduced the VA Billing Accountability Act to protect our nation's veterans from delayed co-payment bills from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This legislation would require the Department of Veterans' Affairs to set specific and clear billing requirements so veterans do not receive outdated co-payments from the VA.
Washington, DC- Today, Rep. Lloyd Smucker announced the reintroduction of the VA Billing Accountability Act, H.R. 845. Rep. Smucker first introduced the VA Billing Accountability Act in the 115th Congress where it passed the U.S. House of Representatives. Reintroduced in the 116th Congress and now the 117th Congress, Rep. Smucker continues to fight for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to be accountable to our nation's brave veterans.

Building Confidence in Elections
WASHINGTON, DC — Rep. Lloyd Smucker has been officially appointed to subcommittees of the House Committee on Ways and Means, following today's organizational meeting of the committee.
Smucker joins the Worker & Family Support Subcommittee and the Oversight Subcommittee. In addition to those assignments, Smucker re-joins the House Committee on the Budget.

During each two-year session of Congress, much of the legislative work is accomplished in one of twenty standing committees which have specialized jurisdiction to review and advance legislation. As I begin my third term in the House of Representatives, I have been appointed to serve on the House Committee on Ways and Means, which has broad jurisdiction over taxation and trade.

Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) and Lisa McClain (MI-10) are announcing the introduction of H.R. 607, the Voter Confidence Act, which establishes a bipartisan and bicameral commission to bolster voter confidence in future federal elections and to review the practices and policies of federal, state and local election officials and the impact they had on the security and integrity of the election.
