Lancaster, PA—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) and his office are available to assist veterans who selflessly served our nation. Assisting constituents, including area veterans, with issues they are experiencing with a federal department or agency is a top priority for Rep. Smucker.
Since taking office in 2017, Rep. Smucker’s office has assisted over 14,000 individuals returning more than $52,000,000 to constituents in the form of released tax refunds, processed Social Security payments and paid veterans' benefits.

Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) and Don Beyer (VA-08), members of the Ways and Means Committee, announce jointly-introducing the Ensuring Nationwide Access to Better Life Experience (ENABLE) Act (H.R. 9614). This legislation helps individuals with disabilities save for their futures by permanently extending three provisions of the tax code which expire in 2025.

Smucker’s legislation was included in the comprehensive and bipartisan Protecting America’s Children by Strengthening Families Act (H.R. 9076) which reauthorizes and reforms child welfare programs authorized under Title IV-B of the Social Security Act.
Washington—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) has introduced three pieces of legislation aimed at aiding foster children, families, and child welfare agencies (CWAs). Smucker’s bills would expand state flexibility to utilize funding provided by Title IV-B of the Social Security Act to support foster children and families, require a reduction in administrative burden for CWAs, and assist CWAs in recruiting and retaining talented caseworkers.
