Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-16) is working across the aisle to prevent future government shutdowns and hold Congress accountable for failing to perform the basic task of funding the federal government.
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-16), a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, today sent a letter to United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz demanding answers about the shocking incident aboard United Airlines Flight 3411 on Sunday, April 9th.
In the letter, Rep. Smucker tells Mr. Munoz:
Lancaster, PA – U.S. Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-16) today announced the 2017 Congressional Art Competition for Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District.
"I'm thrilled that I have opportunity to showcase the artistic ability of students in our communities," said Rep. Smucker. "The winner of the competition will have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for all members, staff, and visitors to view throughout the year. I encourage students to submit their artwork, and I look forward to seeing all the submissions."

Collin Peterson (MN-07) and Tom Emmer (MN-06) to introduce legislation to relieve veterans of financial burdens caused by delays at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-16) today introduced legislation to provide municipalities the flexibility to prioritize their investments in storm and wastewater infrastructure projects in order to comply with Clean Water Act (CWA) standards.
