WASHINGTON –Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) has reintroduced the Improve and Enhance the Work Opportunity Tax Credit Act to build the U.S. workforce and help connect individuals to good jobs. The bill will strengthen the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), which has a proven track record of helping disadvantaged individuals secure employment.

WASHINGTON – A bipartisan group of Representatives led by Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) are announcing the re-introduction of the Primary Care Enhancement Act, legislation designed to expand access to Direct Primary Care (DPC). Reps. Dan Crenshaw (TX-02), Jimmy Panetta (CA-19), Brad Schneider (IL-10), Kim Schrier, MD (WA-08), and Claudia Tenney (NY-24) are co-leads in introducing the legislation, representing bipartisan support from members of the Committees on Ways and Means, Energy and Commerce, and Education and Workforce.

WASHINGTON-Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) introduced the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, H.R. 703, legislation which would permanently extend Section 199A of the Internal Revenue Code, which is slated to expire at the end of this year. Smucker’s bipartisan legislation is cosponsored by 155 Members and is supported by all Republican Members of the Ways & Means Committee.

Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) participated as a member in a bipartisan Congressional Delegation appointed by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson that traveled to Belgium and Luxembourg to participate in events honoring the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Veterans of the battle, their families, members of the administration, Senators, and other dignitaries also attended.
