Washington, DC—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted for H.R. 23 the Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act. Smucker was an original cosponsor of the legislation introduced by Ways and Means Committee colleague Rep. Adrian Smith (NE-3).
Washington, DC—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted in support of the successful election of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (CA-20) to serve as Speaker of the House for the 118th Congress. Smucker was also sworn in for his fourth term, serving the people of Lancaster and southern York counties which comprise Pennsylvania’s 11th Congressional District.
Washington, DC— Legislation introduced by Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) to honor the life of Lancaster County World War II Veteran and last known survivor of the Malmedy Massacre, Harold Billow, is expected to become law after passage in Congress this week.
Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted against the Senate Amendment to H.R. 2617, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, a massive $1.7 trillion spending bill. Smucker issued the following statement:
Lancaster, PA – Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) announced that his Lancaster District Office will be moving to 2270 Erin Court, Lancaster, PA 17601 and will be fully operational on January 3, 2023. Constituent services will continue uninterrupted.
Washington, DC— Rep. Smucker voted in favor of H.R. 8876, the Jackie Walorski Maternal and Child Home Visiting Reauthorization Act of 2022. The legislation was named in honor of the late Rep. Jackie Walorski who proudly represented Indiana's 2nd Congressional District from 2013 until her passing in August.

Smucker's legislation would designate the Mount Joy Post Office Building as the "Harold Billow Post Office Building" in honor of Billow, a lifelong Mount Joy resident. Smucker's legislation was introduced with the support of the entire Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representatives Lloyd Smucker (PA-11), Kurt Schrader (OR-05), Gus Bilirakis (FL-12), Mike Thompson (CA-05), Tim Walberg (MI-07), and Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) have introduced the Medicare Enrollment Protection Act. This bipartisan legislation would help to protect seniors enrolling in Medicare Part B after COBRA coverage expiration from potential coverage gaps and late enrollment penalties.
