Smucker Votes to Advance “One Big, Beautiful Bill”

Washington—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11), the Vice Chair of the House Committee on the Budget, released the following statement after voting in favor of the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025: 

“Today was a critical first step towards implementing the mandate that President Donald Trump received from the American people. I voted for a budget resolution that will secure the border, unleash American energy, extend tax cuts for small businesses and hardworking families, and slash government waste in Washington. House Republicans are unified in support of these policies. I want to thank Chairman Arrington, my colleagues on the Budget Committee, Speaker Mike Johnson, and Majority Leader Steve Scalise for their work to advance this great legislation. There is more work to do in the weeks ahead but today was a great first step in helping to make America great again,” said Budget Committee Vice Chair Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11).
