Smucker Sworn in to Serve People of PA-11

Washington, DC—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted in support of the successful election of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (CA-20) to serve as Speaker of the House for the 118th Congress. Smucker was also sworn in for his fourth term, serving the people of Lancaster and southern York counties which comprise Pennsylvania’s 11th Congressional District.
“I was proud to support Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House. I am confident that he will be a unifying Speaker and effective leader of the House of Representatives,” said Rep. Smucker.
“It is an honor and a privilege to serve the constituents of Pennsylvania’s 11th Congressional District and to be their voice in our nation’s Capitol. I will continue my efforts to bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington, by stopping the unchecked growth of our nation’s debt and deficit. After two years of Democrats’ one-party rule in Washington, our nation faces many crises. I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance policies to get our nation back on track,” said Rep. Smucker.
“My staff and I will continue to do everything we can to assist constituents who contact our office. Please reach out with your thoughts and ideas, or if we may ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. It would be an honor to assist you,” said Rep. Smucker.
