Smucker Opposes Irresponsible Spending Measure

Washington, DC – Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) voted against the Senate Amendment to H.R. 6833 and released the following statement:

"Congress is yet again considering a short-term continuing resolution to fund the government. Congress has been averaging five continuing resolutions per year. It is an irresponsible way to run our government. We must get our nation's fiscal house in order. The American taxpayers deserve better stewardship of their hard-earned dollars than Congress is currently providing," said Rep. Lloyd Smucker.
