Meet Lloyd

Lloyd was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Arie Smucker.  He was born into an Amish family. After graduating from Lancaster Mennonite High School in 1981, he attended Lebanon Valley College and Franklin & Marshall College. 

Lloyd is currently serving as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania's 11th congressional district since 2019. He previously served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania's 16th congressional district from 2017 to 2018 and as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for the 13th District from 2009 to 2016.
