Smucker Invites Lancaster Business Leader to President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress

Lin Weaver, CEO of Shady Maple in East Earl Attends Speech
Washington—Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) has invited Lancaster County business leader Lin Weaver, CEO of Shady Maple in eastern Lancaster County to attend President Trump’s address to a Joint Session of Congress.
“I want to thank Lin for joining me this evening to hear President Trump’s first address to a Joint Session of Congress during his second term. Tonight, President Trump will speak about how we can reignite the American Dream. I have been fortunate to live my own American Dream by growing a small business before entering public service. Lin and his family-run operation are also a success story growing, from humble beginnings to operating America’s largest buffet—a well-known travel destination—while running a farm market, and employing nearly 800 individuals. Their company lives by its values every day and is truly an American success story,” said Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11).
“I appreciate the opportunity to join Rep. Lloyd Smucker to hear President Donald Trump’s address to a Joint Session of Congress. The story of our company’s growth is only possible in America. Every day, our company demonstrates our values of faith in God, commitment to community, and providing value for our customers. Our story began in 1962 as a roadside produce stand and today, we employ nearly 800 hardworking team members at our Farm Market, Smorgasbord, and other businesses. I look forward to hearing President Trump's remarks on the renewal of the American Dream,” said Lin Weaver, CEO of Shady Maple.
